Our Guidance Policy
At Neverland Children's Centre, we believe in supporting children's development through a Child-Centered approach to guidance. Our policy recognizes that each child is an individual with a unique set of experiences, environment, development, and culture that influence their behavior. Our trained staff works with each child to provide age-appropriate guidance using positive reinforcement and a loving and supportive environment. Our goal is to help each child develop self-awareness, confidence, and resilience, with a focus on positive behaviour and communication. We believe that fostering positive behavior and communication skills at a young age sets the foundation for success as they grow and mature.

Recognize & Reinforce Positive Behaviours
At our centre, we believe in positive reinforcement. Our caring and experienced staff show genuine approval when children are engaged in positive activities. This encourages and motivates them to continue exhibiting positive behaviors. We strive to create a safe and nurturing environment where children feel valued and appreciated.
Give Praises or Compliments
At our daycare, we believe in the power of positive reinforcement and giving praise where it's due. Our approach to praise is not flattery, but rather a genuine recognition of a child's accomplishments and efforts. We also understand that non-verbal or indirect praise can be just as powerful in reinforcing good behavior and building positive self-esteem. A smile, a nod, and a pat on the shoulder can go a long way in making a child feel seen and valued.
Do Not Reinforce Inappropriate Behaviour
At our daycare, we prioritize positive reinforcement and aim to create a safe and supportive environment for your child to grow and learn. We never reinforce inappropriate behavior and have a team of experienced and skilled staff who work together to ensure consistency in our approach. If needed, we take appropriate steps such as removing the child from the audience or vice versa, to ensure a positive learning environment for everyone.
